Find the colour in the photo.

Playing

• Tap anywhere to drop a marker. Drag to move it.
• Arrow keys nudge it a pixel. Hold Shift for ten.
• Lock in when you're happy. There's no clock.
• Five colours, then you're done for the day. Progress saves as you go.

The two modes

• Easy — the swatch, its name and its hex. The loupe splits down the middle; when the seam vanishes, you've got it.
• Standard — the name. That's the lot. The swatch turns up when you lock in.

Scoring

Scored on CIEDE2000, which measures a colour gap the way an eye does. Easy is a matching job, so it's marked strictly; Standard is a guess, so it's marked kindly.

The archive
